The beach bar looking out across the bay
Es Grau is a typical Menorcan fishing village, unspoilt and secluded in a nature reserve - 85% of the population being Menorcan. There are three bars, one waterside restaurant, a well stocked supermarket and numerous beaches, which are 'very safe' for children and clean clear warm water makes it ideal for snorkelling and there are good facilities for wind surfing and other water sports. The large nature reserve and surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and explorers with unspoilt trails and superb views. Although secluded in its own bay, it is only four miles from Mahan Harbour where there are numerous restaurants, bars and nightlife.
